Memphis Music - Neil's Patio is Open and ACCESSIBLE!

(MEMPHIS, April 22) Neil's at 1835 Madison will host a musical benefit for ADAPT on Sunday April 22 from 3:00 until closing. ADAPT is a grassroots civil rights organization that is working to build an accessible community.

ADAPT shut-down the BLOCKBUSTER Video on Union Avenue this past Martin Luther King Day until executives agreed to provide access (See the Martin Luther King Day News Release). ADAPT is working with the community to ensure access to all.

ADAPT will participate May 12-17 in a national civil rights demonstration in Washington D.C.  600  ADAPT members from across the U.S. will show support for Medicaid Reform through the Medicaid Community Attendant Services and Supports Act (MiCASSA) legislation.
