Christmas Dance for Youth and Young Adults with disabilities.

MEMPHIS (November 27, 1996) Memphis area youth and young adults with disabilities will have a Christmas Dance at the United Cerebral Palsy headquarters on December 6th from 8 till 11 p.m. The dance is sponsored by the Catholic group for youth with disabilities, Learning Disabilities Association, United Cerebral Palsy social group, Brain Injury group, and PALs II and III.

The 5 sponsoring organizations have invited 125 young people to the dance. Craig and Cindy Fuller from Disk Jockey's Etc. will provide the music. No lone disability is singled out, the event is geared for youth with any disability. "This is a unique opportunity for young people with disabilities." Said Pat Jessup, coordinator of PALs. "Dances are not usually planned for youth with disabilities so generally they are left out."

The UCP headquarters is located at 4198 Leroy in St. James Catholic Church.
