INDEPENDENT LIVING JOURNEY
From April to October, 2002, Tim Wheat traveled across the United States by car, plane, train, bus, van and 5,000 miles on his bicycle. With snow covering the mountains to the west, Tim parked his bike in Boulder Colorado and took a job applying the Independent Living lessons he learned to "real world." At the Center for People With Disabilities in Boulder, Tim is an Independent Living Instructor.
