MCIL Volunteer Recognition Lunch
In recognition of the commitment and enthusiasm of MCIL's volunteers, about 30 folks gathered at the Center to enjoy barbecue and camaraderie.
Volunteer appreciation was coordinated by Pat Artison, MCIL's Administrative Assistant. With the input of volunteers on what people would like, Pat orchestrated a festive lunch complete with dessert. Pat also awarded volunteers a certificate to mark their achievement and MCIL's appreciation for a job well done.
The real thanks for being a volunteer at MCIL is being a part of the progressive consumer directed civil rights movement that will change attitudes about people with disabilities throughout America. The barbecue lunch, however, was also a good thank you.
Thank you to all the MCIL volunteers for your hard work and dedication.
