TennCare Budget

Randy Alexander Yes, you really need to look at this simplified view of the budget. Can you believe it, Tennessee is going to spend money on a home arrest system for people with disabilities and older Tennesseans that use home and community-based services the friendly new name is electronic visit verification to make sure your personal assistance shows up at your home. What if you need them at work or in the community? The state calls it Home and Community Based Services I think they’re forgetting the Community part. I wonder if we will get some cool ankle bracelets with the new electronic visit verification system.

Oh yeah, the alternative to nursing home care has pulled up and is now a full 1% of the states Medicaid budget! Yahoo! Oh yeah, the alternative to nursing home care has pulled up and is now a full 1% of the states Medicaid budget! Yahoo! If you don’t know that is extreme sarcasm!
