2005 MCIL Holiday Open House
Come celebrate the start of the Holiday season with the Memphis Center for Independent Living on Friday evening, December 1, 2006 from 4 till 8 at 1633 Madison. Fun, Food, Music and 4th annual Silent Auction are all part of the MCIL Holiday Open House. This annual event is one way that MCIL raises money to continue its advocacy efforts in Memphis for people with disabilities and to celebrate with consumers, fellow advocates and the community this time of good cheer.
Some of this year’s auction items include: vintage jewelry, casino packages from Fitzgerald’s, and Harrah’s, dinner gift certificates from local restaurants including: Cracker Barrel, India Palace, and Boscos Squared, original artwork and many
other items.
One of the highlights of this year’s auction is a framed piece of John Lennon memorabilia, a postcard signed by John Lennon and Yoko Ono with other montage items, papers of authenticity are included.
For the 2nd year for more limited budgets MCIL hosts a Holiday Gift Shoppe with items $10 or less for purchase.
