TENNCARE CHANGES

The Memphis Center for Independent Living will host a meeting and breakout sessions to discuss the upcoming radical changes to TennCare and provide means to get involved, for dealing with those changes. Please join us on:MCIL The Memphis Center for Independent Living

10:00 – 12:00 Town Hall Meeting
What will happen to Tennessee’s residents on TennCare, changes in Medicaid coverage, including pharmacy limits, strategies for dealing with these changes and more!

There will be several speakers that day, including Tony Garr with the Tennessee Health Care Campaign will discuss the changes. Randy Alexander with the Memphis Center for Independent Living will talk about strategies to become involved, for surviving these changes and more.

12:00 – 1:00 Brown Bag Lunch
Bring your own lunch. During the break we will discuss strategies on how to get involved.

1:00 – 3:00 Breakout Sessions
We will break into groups to organize, write letters etc,.

COME FOR ONE OR ALL THREE SESSIONS

  • Over 323,000 people will be cut from the TennCare rolls in April.
  • Those who remain, will have their benefits drastically reduced!
  • Find out how these cuts may affect you!
