Fair Housing Alliance of Greater Memphis
OPEN HOUSE

Are you interested in developing fair housing partnerships, keeping abreast of current and emerging housing trends, and participating with other housing related agencies to encourage programs that deal with housing issues? If so, the Fair Housing Alliance of Greater Memphis [FHAGM] extends greetings and invites you to its open house Wednesday, December 20, 2000 from 2 until 4 p.m. on the 10th floor at the National Bank of Commerce (One Commerce Square at Main Street).

FHAGM is a nonprofit organization dedicated to furthering fair and affordable housing and fair lending in the Greater Memphis metropolitan area.

FHAGM includes representative participation from numerous housing and housing related agencies. Accomplishments during 2000 include:

  • Selected for one of HUD's regional Best Practices Awards.

  • Participant in a predatory lending roundtable sponsored by the FDIC.

  • Represented on the City Mayor's Fair Housing Task Force.

  • Cosponsor of the annual Fair Housing Conference.

  • Facilitated educational presentations including State o the Rental Market in Memphis - Steve Rudesill, President of CB Richard Ellis and Visitability - Eleanor Smith, Executive Director of Concrete Change.
