Don Morris was the organizer of the event that started at the Senior Services Office 4700 Poplar Avenue. The idea originated from Ms. Mildred Sessions, who was named the "Grand Marshall" of the event.
"It went well," said Ms. Sessions on completing the Walk for Awareness, "I don't think anybody fell down."
